HymnfoldFor the PCC meeting
A proposal for the PCC
Subscribing to Hymnfold
Microsoft ended support for Publisher in October 2026, so our service sheet needs a new home. Hymnfold replaces it. It makes our weekly order of service, prints it as an A5 booklet and keeps a searchable archive.
What it costs
Parish plan, per year£96.00
About a Sunday£1.85
On the free plan, 47 services a year£111.00
PaymentInvoice and bank transfer
What we get
A booklet ready by Thursday, without layout work
Lectionary readings and hymn words, with copyright checked
Song records for our CCLI return
An account that belongs to the church, passed on in two clicks
Why not carry on, or use Word? Publisher gets no more fixes, and Word means laying out, chasing and folding by hand every week.
If things change
Renews each year. We remind the treasurer 30 days before, and the price is held for two years
Cancel at any time. Cancelling moves us to the free plan, with nothing deleted
If Hymnfold chooses to close: 90 days’ notice, and every service as PDF and Word. Each January the treasurer gets the year’s services, without names in prayers
The church stays the controller of its data. Hymnfold is the processor
Suggested resolution
That the PCC subscribes to the Hymnfold Parish plan at £96 a year, to be reviewed at the next annual budget.
